Position Overview
The CALAIM Supervisor | Enhanced Case Manager plays a dual role in the successful delivery of our CALAIM services. This position is responsible for supervising the CALAIM team while also managing a client caseload as an Enhanced Case Manager. The ideal candidate will bring both leadership experience and a hands-on approach to supporting clients in accessing the resources and services available through the CALAIM program.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, and support CALAIM team members to ensure high-quality service delivery
- Monitor program operations and ensure compliance with CALAIM regulations and standards
- Conduct regular case reviews and provide coaching and feedback to case managers
- Serve as the primary contact for complex client issues or escalated cases
- Build and maintain partnerships with community agencies and service providers
- Assist clients in navigating the CALAIM eligibility process and completing necessary applications
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Provide direct case management including crisis intervention, advocacy, and referrals
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and case notes
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and outreach activities
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field
- RN or LVN Nurse Care Manager certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience in case management or a related role
- Proficiency with case management software and standard office applications
- Knowledge of local resources and support systems in Orange County
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality
- Cultural competence and sensitivity when working with diverse populations
Preferred
- Supervisory or team leadership experience
- Familiarity with CALAIM rules, processes, and services
